You have a reason for people to follow him. Otherwise, if your writing is not interesting, you get to anyone.

Post your URL in chat rooms, if you have other sharing websites (Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, Friendster) you can post your twitter URL as your headline.

You can follow me though. :]

No idea, it just happened to me. Tweet about topics and people who start these things you would like discussed, then use an automated RTweeter like the one they talk about here on TwitterBrick. When you to despair, shoot an e-mail me and I’ll give you my Twitter Link

I know that the twitter-bot or autofollowing is possible. But investing $179 was well worth every penny from the unlimited writing potential of this easy automated twitter program, that actually makes twittering easy and fun.

I’m definitely not an expert on Twitter but from my experience every time I tweet on something, the next thing I know I have a new follower. I think there are people out there who are monitoring on the words that you tweet with some sort of tool. So, when the keyword appears in their monitored list, they will immediately follow you. I bought the twitter automatic generator mentioned here. I would suggest that you tweet often and vary the subject that you tweet. In that way, you will get more people to follow you.

The other way is, instead of waiting for people to follow you, why don’t you start following others? In most cases, the people whom you follow will follow you back.

If you are willing to spend a little money though, I would suggest you to take a look at this product talked about and posted here on Twitterbrick.com
